We were seriously overexcited when Becky and Cat (co-founders of A Most Curious Wedding Fair) got in touch to ask us to photograph the London show this year. For those of you who don’t know, A Most Curious Wedding Fair is for all the cool brides and grooms out there, who want to bring a creative, stylish and alternative edge to their day.
Held at the Old Truman Brewery in the hipster haven that is Brick Lane (not far from our own doorstep) you’ll find no polished glamour here, it’s free spirited rock ‘n’ roll all the way, and we loved it. A Most Curious Wedding Fair is the biggest and most forward-thinking of its kind in London. Becky and Cat make sure every exhibitor is bringing exciting, directional products which are off the beaten wedding track to ensure a curated experience you won’t find anywhere else. They are on top of life-style trends and go out of their way to source inspirational, emerging talent who may well be using their bedroom or kitchen as a make shift studio, all so you can pick and choose from these awesome creatives to express yourselves the way you really want.
We spent the weekend capturing all the cool kids spill into the fair and work their way around, trying things on, tasting cake, ice-cream and oysters (not all at the same time) as well as getting their hair braided and faces glittered. We got to shoot a fashion show and pat some cute dogs too. Not bad eh? Here are just some of the highlights for you, and if your wedding is set to take place after spring 2018, get a ticket and we’ll see you there next year!
