Devon Wedding Photographer // Ejing & Florian

Ejing and Florian’s Devon wedding was an epic day, we could not have asked for a more beautiful and sweet couple to capture. Ejing and Florian both live and work in London, but are from two very different parts of the world, (China and France). They planned their wedding only five months after their engagement and really wanted the vibe to be cosy, intimate, and close to nature. Devon Wedding Photographer.

After looking at a few places, they settled on The Horn Of Plenty, a beautifully restored country house hotel nestled away in the woods, rolling hills and winding lanes of Devon. This is a familiar part of the country for us, as Dan’s roots are from Plymouth, so we were extra happy to make the trip!

Ejing is a super talented jewellery designer, (Ejing Zhang Designs) and made both their rings. She used her natural flair for design for lots of the other details too, such as the flowers and her beautiful pearl studded dress. Most importantly though, these guys are totally in love, and their connection with each other surpassed everything else. They had a simple outdoor ceremony, (which the weather was absolutely perfect for!), overlooking the famous Tamar Valley and out across the moor, followed by drinks and lawn lounging. It was a mega hot day, so speeches took place under the shade of a great cedar tree, and it was really humbling to see their families from different cultures come together and celebrate Ejing & Florian’s day with them. Devon Wedding Photographer.

Just before sunset we took them for a little walk to the fields and woods surrounding the house for some couple portraits, the light was amazing and it was beautiful to capture them having a few moments together. By the time we got back, guests had wandered outside to enjoy the sunset before heading in again for dancing, casino games and some good old karaoke! Devon wedding photographer.
