Carly & Jade, The Temple of Apollo, Stourhead

Courteney Cox’s Niece Marries At The Temple of Apollo, Stourhead.
When LA based creatives Carly Pickett and Jade Ehlers contacted us about their wedding, we knew it was going to be incredibly special. Carly is a painter who specialises in classical portraiture and Jade is a creative director who is known for his work with Weezer, Brandi Carlile and lately, the former Alabama Shakes front-woman, Brittany Howard. They were in search of an experience and location that transcended anything they could have envisioned having back home, and after much daydreaming and research, they decided to host their wedding celebration at The Temple of Apollo, nestled in the paradisiacal gardens at Stourhead and originally made famous from the 2005 Pride and Prejudice film.

Following their ceremony at the temple, Carly and Jade hosted an intimate, al fresco dinner for their 30 guests in the grounds of a quintessentially Georgian Manor House, featuring farm to table fare by Sam’s Kitchen Events. The atmosphere was one of total relaxation and spontaneity, with heartfelt speeches given by Carley’s parents and other close family members including her aunt (Courteney Cox) and partner (Johnny McDaid).

Their plans didn’t end there. We spent the next day with them exploring the gorgeous city of Bath, and even fulfilled the bride’s dream of ordering coffee in her stunning wedding dress by Katherine Tash. The weekend could not have been more magical!
Reception Venue: The Manor Holcombe
