A Candle-Lit Winter Wedding: The Ned | Naomi + Alec


Set amidst the grandeur and elegance of The Ned in London's historic heart, Naomi and Alec's candle-lit winter wedding was a chic affair that perfectly captured the magic of an elegant festive celebration in the city. As night fell, The Ned, with its iconic architecture and sumptuous interiors, came alive beneath the soft glow of countless pillar candles.

Naomi and Alec collaborated with contemporary event planner and stylist Anné Ladegast-Chiu (featured in Vogue, Elle, and Harper's Bazaar) to craft a wedding aesthetic that blended moody, artful elegance with a design-led approach. The result was a harmonious balance of drama and warmth—where every detail, from floral installations to candlelight, created an atmosphere of understated elegance.

DRESS + FLOWERS

Naomi and Alec embraced black-tie elegance for their wedding. Naomi wore a sleek Half Penny London gown with a flowing veil and statement bow. Alec matched her sophistication in a classic tuxedo. Her bouquet of pine foliage and orchids in white, soft green and caramel tones added a subtle, wintry touch.

AN INTIMATE CANDLE-LIT CEREMONY

Floral artistry by Yinari enhanced the festive atmosphere, with stunning arrangements. The marble fireplace in the Saloon Room served as a beautiful focal point, framed by cascading pine foliage, earthy tones, and winter-white florals, intertwined with delicate tulle and surrounded by pillar candles. As Naomi walked down the aisle holding their one-year-old son, tears were shed all round, adding a heartfelt depth and intimacy to the ceremony.

A LUXURY BANQUET DINNER RECEPTION

Throughout the evening, guests dined beneath the grandeur of crystal chandeliers and dramatic ceilings, the space softly illuminated by the dance of candlelight from silver candelabras. Sweeping banquet style tablescapes were adorned with delicate white and lilac-toned blooms, accented by dark berries that added depth and contrast. The opulent setting created an atmosphere that was at once intimate and spectacular—a perfect balance of timeless romance and understated luxury.
