Alexis + Paul

An Elegant Elopement In A London Art Gallery
Alexis and Paul travelled from Canada to elope in London, choosing to exchange vows at the very place where their love story began—Royal Holloway University. Their wedding was intimate, elegant, and deeply personal, perfectly capturing the spirit of a couple who value both meaning and style.
Their vision? An elopement in a London art gallery that felt timeless and romantic. They began their day with a calm and quiet morning getting ready together at The Corinthia, one of London’s most luxurious hotels. Simple and serene—just quiet excitement and shared anticipation.
For their ceremony, they returned to Royal Holloway’s Picture Gallery, a breathtaking space filled with rich, historic artworks and soaring light. With only Alexis’s parents in attendance, they exchanged vows surrounded by the beauty of the collection—a setting that reflected their love of culture, history, and each other.

Alexis was effortlessly chic in a sleek Amanda Wakeley gown, paired with iconic blue satin Manolos—a nod to her personal style and a touch of classic glamour.

Post-ceremony, the couple embraced the simplicity of the day with a cheese and champagne picnic in St. James’s Park, a favourite location from their time living in London.

The day ended just as perfectly as it began at Pétrus in Knightsbridge, where they toasted their next chapter over a Michelin-starred meal, perfectly closing a day that was simple, meaningful, and undeniably chic!
If you’re dreaming of an elopement in a London art gallery, Alexis and Paul’s day is a reminder that beauty lies in simplicity—and that the most meaningful celebrations are the ones that reflect your story.
