The Fall Bride

London’s destination boutique for modern, design-led bridalwear.
For this 2025 feature, we visited The Fall Bride, a modern London bridal boutique known for fashion-forward wedding style, and caught up over coffee with its founder, Annelise Sealy.
Tucked away in the creative heart of Dalston, The Fall Bride is a sanctuary for independent women in search of more than just a dress. It’s become a go-to destination for modern, design-led bridalwear—refined pieces that feel relaxed, elevated, and unapologetically stylish.

Inside The Boutique
From the moment you step inside, it’s clear The Fall Bride is something special. Designed by Studio Jey (the powerhouse duo behind Tom Dixon and Net-A-Porter sets), the space is a study in tactile luxury: raw steel softened by lime-washed walls, cast glass from Sussex, natural clay plaster from Cornwall. Soft waves of fabric curtain off each fitting area, creating a space that feels intimate without sacrificing light or openness.
The layout feels more art gallery than bridal shop—open, intentional, and infused with a calm that makes dress hunting feel like a curated experience, not a chore.

A Curated Designer Line-Up
The Fall Bride is home to a carefully edited roster of global designers who blend modern aesthetics with ethical craftsmanship. Made-to-order gowns from labels like NEWHITE, Cortana, Lola Varma and Katherine Tash sit alongside elevated ready-to-wear from Kamperett.
Each designer is chosen not only for their vision and fit, but for their values—most produce locally, in-house, using slow, sustainable methods, and are often led by women.
Annelise is especially excited to welcome Tanner Fletcher to the line-up. “This collection is particularly exciting for its inclusive and non-traditional approach, catering to a diverse range of people getting married,” she says—bringing a fresh, thoughtful perspective to modern bridalwear.
Our original feature highlighted a Lola Varma trunk show featuring the brand’s 2025 ‘Seeker’ collection, with its sculptural silhouettes and fluid fabrics. That event has passed; contact The Fall Bride directly for current appointments, designers and trunk-show dates.

What's trending at The Fall
When it comes to current trends, Annelise shares, “We’re observing several exciting directions that really resonate with our clients. Designers like & For Love and Cinq are having a moment, especially with their use of drop- and basque-waist corsetry. These elements bring a sense of theatre to the silhouette while still feeling contemporary.” This blend of structure and softness reflects wider fashion trends embracing nostalgic cuts and reimagined classics.

The Fall Bride Experience
Appointments are private, relaxed, and personalised. The team approaches styling as a creative collaboration rather than a sales pitch—offering warm, intuitive guidance that helps each bride feel like her most elevated self.
So, where are today’s brides finding their inspiration? “Many come to us with references from real weddings they’ve seen online or on Instagram,” Annelise explains. “While that can be a great jumping-off point, we always encourage them to find a look that truly reflects their individuality”
She adds, “Our approach involves understanding each bride's personal style and introducing them to unique pieces that align with their vision, steering them towards choices that feel both authentic and distinctive.”
For anyone looking for a contemporary London bridalwear store that champions fashion-forward individuality and modern design, The Fall Bride is the name to know.
But beyond the dresses, what truly sets The Fall apart is its ethos: a celebration of personal style, a commitment to meaningful craftsmanship, and an experience that feels as thoughtfully curated as the gowns themselves.
