Claudia and Chris’ Villa Gamberaia wedding was the kind of three-day celebration you don’t forget - thoughtful, beautiful, and quietly spectacular. Claudia works as an Artist Liaison at Gagosian in London, so choosing Florence - arguably the art capital of the world - felt completely natural.

Celebrations began with a relaxed welcome aperitif right in the heart of the city. We slipped away for a few sunset portraits on Ponte Santa Trinita before their guests arrived, and as the Florentine light dropped, drinks were in hand and everyone was ready for the weekend.

Then Villa Gamberaia on the wedding day. High in the hills above Florence, with cypress-lined paths and iconic water parterres, Villa Gamberaia's Renaissance architecture set the tone for a cinematic stage, with beauty that reveals itself in every time-worn detail. Their ceremony took place in the cypress-ringed grotto, so incredibly intimate and atmospheric. Claudia was accompanied by her mother down the aisle, wearing Zuhair Murad: sculptural, effortless, and perfectly at home against the old stone.

Dinner was pure design heaven: twin banquet tables in tonal pinks, ivories and soft greens, with modern, sculptural florals by Flowersliving, all glowing under a sea of candles. Beautifully styled, as well as authentic - with speeches that made everyone cry and conversations that lingered long after the sun went down.
