An Intimate Marylebone Town Hall Wedding | Claudia + Chris
There is something about an intimate Marylebone Town Hall wedding that always feels effortlessly chic, and Claudia + Chris’s day was exactly that: contemporary, personal and beautifully self-assured. It also felt like the perfect prelude to their marriage celebrations in Florence just a week later.
With only their closest people around them, they kept things simple in the best possible way. As always, Marylebone Town Hall gave the day all the structure it needed - iconic steps, grand columns and that unmistakable sense of London. At the same time, it still allowed everything to feel relaxed and deeply personal. Claudia wore a sculptural Safiyaa gown with a dramatic bow and cape-back detail, which felt made for a modern London civil ceremony: elegant, fashion-led and timeless all at once.
After the ceremony, we wandered through the arts block around the Royal Academy of Arts. That felt especially fitting given Claudia’s work as an artist liaison at Gagosian. Meanwhile, the afternoon light gave the portraits a different rhythm - atmospheric, editorial and very much rooted in the city. In turn, the contrast between the clean architecture of Marylebone Town Hall and the surrounding streets made the whole afternoon such a joy to photograph. Add in the softness of the light and the romance of the day, and everything came together so naturally.
Later, they headed to contemporary Mexican restaurant Fonda for an intimate dinner celebration. The same understated, stylish energy carried right through into the evening. Altogether, it was a beautiful reminder that an intimate London wedding can feel both relaxed and deeply considered.
